Dato’ Low Chee Choon was admitted to the Bar of England & Wales (Inner Temple) in 1969 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1972. He has been recognised as a leading individual in Malaysia in the area of Banking and Finance by The Legal 500.

Dato’ Low started his legal career as a legal assistant with Messrs Ariffin & Ooi from 1972 to 1974 and was a partner there from 1974 to 1975. He is a founding partner of our firm.

Dato’ Low’s vast amount of experience includes finance work such as syndications, project financing, capital market financing, structured financing, cross-border financing, financial leasing, Islamic financing, corporate work such as privatisations, restructuring, schemes of arrangements and joint ventures and asset swaps. He has been a consultant to our firm since 2015 and remains much sought after for his technical knowledge, skill and experience.
