- Advised CIMB Investment Bank Berhad in relation to a Sukuk Murabahah programme of up to RM3.0 billion in nominal value by Pengerang LNG (Two) Sdn. Bhd. which operates the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Regasification Terminal Pengerang (RGTP) in Johor.
- Advised CIMB Investment Bank Berhad in relation to the issuance of senior Islamic medium term notes and/or subordinated perpetual Islamic notes, including issuance of green sukuk in compliance with the SRI Sukuk Framework, ASEAN Green Bond Standards, and/or Green Bond Principles, of up to RM1.5 billion in nominal value based on the Shariah principle of Wakalah Bi Al-Istithmar by Cenergi SEA Berhad for its renewable energy projects.
- Advised Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad and MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad in relation to reNIKOLA Solar II Sdn Bhd’s ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk programme, the first certified climate sukuk in Malaysia and the world, for the financing/refinancing of two 30MWac solar projects in Kedah and Kelantan.
- Advised HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad and Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad in relation to issuance of perpetual securities pursuant to a perpetual note programme of RM10.0 billion in nominal value by SUNREIT Perpetual Bond Berhad.
- Advised CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad in relation to a perpetual Islamic notes issuance programme up to of RM3.0 billion in nominal value by TG Excellence Berhad with a subordinated guarantee by Top Glove Corporation Bhd.
- Advised CIMB Investment Bank Berhad, HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad in relation to Cagamas Berhad’s conventional commercial papers and Islamic commercial papers programmes of a combined limit of RM20.0 billion in nominal value and conventional medium term notes and Islamic medium term notes programmes of a combined limit of RM80.0 billion in nominal value.
- Advised Maybank Investment Bank Berhad in relation to IMTN and ICP Programmes established by Touch Mobile Sdn Bhd for financing of the group’s telecommunication tower business.
- Advised on a syndicated facility of up to RM2.7 billion granted to Pulau Indah Power Plant Sdn. Bhd. for the development of a 1,200 MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Selangor as well as the subsequent refinancing sukuk programme.
- Advised on syndicated facilities granted to Worldwide Holdings Berhad group for the development of greenfield waste-to-energy facilities in Selangor.
- Advised on syndicated facilities granted to the United States-based private equity firm for the financing of education acquisition.
- Acted as Malaysian counsel in syndicated facilities granted to a Cambodian entity for the development of the transmission system in Cambodia.
- Acted as Malaysian counsel in a financing granted by foreign bank for the development of the recycling facility and backed by corporate guarantee from the Chinese entities.
