Sundra Moorthi was admitted to the Bar of England & Wales (Gray’s Inn) in 1969 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1971.

Sundra started his legal career as a legal assistant with Messrs. Lee Boon Peng & Co. from 1971 to 1972. He later joined the firm of Messrs. Ariffin & Ooi as a legal assistant from 1972 to 1974 and was a partner there from 1974 to 1975. He is a founding partner of our firm.

Sundra has a vast amount of experience in corporate arrangements and structuring (including mergers, acquisitions and restructuring), infrastructure and privatisation projects, international and domestic joint ventures, establishment and setting up of companies and banks and stock exchange listings. He has been a practising solicitor for more than 50 years. He has been a valuable consultant to our firm since 2015, and continues to provide us the benefit of his experience, acumen and broad client base.
