Sharon primarily practises in the areas of banking, finance and debt capital markets. Her experience includes advising both local and foreign financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a wide range of conventional and Islamic financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated facilities. Additionally, Sharon advises on complex debt capital markets transactions involving conventional bonds and Shariah-compliant sukuk, and ESG-linked issuances. Her portfolio extends across diverse sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, and energy.
Sharon also brings valuable experience from her time as in-house Legal Counsel for a global fintech group, which complements her technical expertise and supports a solution-oriented approach to complex banking and capital markets transactions.

- Advised United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in relation to a Sukuk Musharakah programme and Sukuk Murabahah programme established by Exsim Capital Resources Berhad for financing or refinancing of the development projects of EXSIM Group.
- Advised HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad in relation to the issuance of Islamic medium term notes of up to Ringgit Two Hundred and Sixty Million (RM260,000,000.00) in nominal value based on the Shariah principle of Wakalah Bi Al-Istithmar under the ASEAN Green Bond Standards by Leader Energy Sdn Bhd for the financing/ refinancing of the (a) 29MWac solar project in Kuala Muda, Kedah by Leader Solar Energy Sdn Bhd and (b) 20MWac solar project in Kuala Muda, Kedah by the Leader Solar Energy II Sdn Bhd.
- Advised CIMB Investment Bank Berhad in relation to a Sukuk Murabahah programme of up to RM3.0 billion in nominal value by Pengerang LNG (Two) Sdn. Bhd. which operates the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Regasification Terminal Pengerang (RGTP) in Johor.
- Advised AmInvestment Bank Berhad in relation to Multi-Currency IMTN programme of up to RM10.0 billion established by SMJ Energy Sdn. Bhd., a Sabah’s state-owned oil and gas company.
- Advised Maybank Investment Bank Berhad in relation to IMTN and ICP Programmes established by Touch Mobile Sdn Bhd for financing of Touch Mindscape Sdn Bhd and its group’s telecommunication tower business.
- Advised CIMB Investment Bank Bhd in relation to IMTN programme up to RM23.35 billion established by PLUS Berhad.
- Advised on Green Club facility of up to RM100 million from MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd and China Construction Bank (M) Bhd granted to Cenergi RE Sdn. Bhd. to finance its biogas-to-energy (BTE) projects.
- Advised on syndicated facilities granted to Worldwide Holdings Berhad group for the development of greenfield waste-to-energy facilities at the Jeram Sanitary Landfill, Kuala Selangor, Selangor.
